SUMMARY:Scranton Bonfire
DESCRIPTION:    \nThe Ninth Annual Bonfire at The Iron Furnaces will take place Saturday\, October 19\, 2019\, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the historic Scranton Iron Furnaces\, a truly unique site with the remains of a standing blast furnace. \nThe Bonfire Festival\, a fundraiser for the Anthracite Heritage Museum\, explores the cultural roots of Halloween and celebrates other cultural autumn festivals while highlighting Northeastern PA’s industrial past. \nTickets include admission to the festival and $5 in Bonfire Bucks\, to use towards food\, beverage\, and activities. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online or at the museum. \nOur second annual VIP Tent will also be running this year. $50 gets you a covered area atop the furnaces to view the bonfire\, catered food and drink\, as well as many great silent auction items. \nEveryone is encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween attire!
