Calling local [YOUTH] artists!
You’re invited to submit your original artwork for the second-ever Arts on Fire Festival (AoF) Youth Arts Showcase. This year’s theme is Change. Without the yearning for change, for a better life, this region couldn’t have blossomed into the energy titan it was, and multi-cultural city it is today. Change is the act or instance of making or becoming different, and we want to see your creative take on the concept!
Here are the guidelines:
- Must be under 18 years old to submit work.
- All work must be your own & match the theme.
- Any medium EXCEPT film is allowed.
- Must submit form (the form includes either a photo of the finished project or a sketch/mockup) and permission slip by due date. No late submissions will be considered.
- Must be willing to display your work on the Saturday (June 6) of the Arts on Fire Festival and communicate with visitors about your work, inspiration, and process.
The deadline for submitting your artwork is extended to May 30, 2026 by 4pm. Submit your artwork below.
***If you cannot submit online, please stop by the Anthracite Heritage Museum in McDade Park to complete a physical form. In-person forms available after the new year.
