250 Years of Anthracite Mining Commemoration

This year’s Leadership Lackawanna class will finish their project with the Anthracite Heritage Museum with a public unveiling of the 250th Anniversary Commemorative Display developed by the class and supported by local businesses and families.

The Museum will be free and open to the public from 9am – 12pm, with the unveiling taking place at 10am. Bring the whole family to get a tour of the exhibit and celebrate the industry that built our region.
